Pomp & Pageantry spill over in this fearless example of Texas Pride!
A 1985 Miss Texas, stage worn, custom made, Strapless, Princess cut dress, covered in a blue and silver sequin gradient, with a white sequin belt, and Big Ol’ red sequin belt buckle, in the shape of the state of Texas.
The dress has a long back slit, and straight skirt, that hits the required Formal length for the evening’s competition.
For the Texas crown, this gown is topped by a matching, Cowboy Style shirt-jacket, complete with mandatory, flashy, silver fringe.
Really hope she won.
We are excited to have this collector’s piece in our Gang, and look forward to sharing the Provenance of this gown, as we continue to gather information on her journey!
Wear with red, white, or blue rhinestone cowgirl/boy boots! Or high-top Chucks …do they make those with bling?
